Carson Wentz replaced Taylor Heinicke at quarterback on Washington’s latest possession and led the Commanders on an 11-play, 82-yard touchdown drive. Wentz was 7-of-10 on the march, which he capped with a perfectly thrown 20-yard touchdown pass to Curtis Samuel on third and long. Wentz was sacked on Washington’s ensuing two-point conversion attempt, keeping it a two-score game. (49ers 30, Commanders 20, 5:25 left in the fourth quarter)
