Washington moved the chains for the first time today on its third possession via Taylor Heinicke’s 19-yard completion to Terry McLaurin.
McLaurin made a third-down catch three plays later, but the drive stalled after Heinicke’s third-down incompletion just past midfield. Heinicke is 2-for-7 to start the game, and the Texans have done a solid job against Washington’s running game, limiting four different ballcarriers, including McLaurin and fellow wideout Jahan Dotson, to a combined 12 yards on six attempts.
