The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $565 million with a cash option valued at $293.6 million.

The winning numbers were: 9, 13, 36, 59 and 61. The Mega Ball drawn was 11 with a Megaplier of 2X.

If someone wins, it would be at least the 16th largest prize in U.S. lottery history and the sixth biggest Mega jackpot.

While no one across the country hit Friday’s $510 million drawing, a pair of second-prize tickets matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball were sold.

A ticket sold in Illinois is worth $1 million while one bought in California is valued at $625,892. California lottery prizes vary depending on ticket sales and number of winners. They differ from the fixed second prizes offered in other participating states.

In New Jersey, a pair of $10,000 third-prize tickets were sold, lottery officials said. One was bought at Colonia Deli & Grill on Lake Avenue in the Colonia section of Woodbridge, the other at Krauszer’s on North Warren Street in Dover. Each matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

Friday’s winning numbers were: 15, 21, 32, 38 and 62. The Mega Ball drawn was 8 with a Megaplier of 4X.

The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
