Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was visibly upset after a 13-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday evening.

A seventh win was within reach for the Raiders, but the offense could not generate any points in the second half when Las Vegas (6-9) needed it the most.

That didn’t happen, and so did their faint playoff hopes.

“I’m tired of dealing with this,” Jacobs told reporters in Pittsburgh. Everyday I come here and bust my (butt) off and I see the guys busting their (butt) and the result is not there. For me, the last four years, the result has not been there. And quite frankly, I don’t know what else to do.”

All season, it was missed opportunities for the Raiders, in which, at times, they could’ve flipped the script when they had a double-digit leads in some of the games to come out with a win.

Even halftime leads were never safe for the Raiders, too.

That was pretty much evident to start the second half when the Raiders got an interception by Denzel Perryman, who then returned the ball to the Pittsburgh 44-yard line.

Derek Carr proceeded to fire off a pass to Foster Moreau that went off his fingers and intercepted.

When the Raiders got the ball back on their next possession, coach Josh McDaniels designed three pass plays before giving the ball to the two-time Pro Bowl running back for three yards. Next play, another interception.

“We still had opportunities to make plays,” Jacobs said. “I feel like in times where we were close and we felt like we were about to get a big one, we went away from it. In the past game, (it) was working early. To win these games, at the end of the stretch, especially when you’re up against a team like this in the cold, you’ve got to run a ball, That’s a factor on everybody involved from top to bottom.”

The Raiders defense made a stop with 3:02 remaining and up 10-6.

The first two plays, Jacobs ran for five yards and the Raiders faced a 3rd and 5.

Carr threw an incomplete pass before punting. The Steelers then went down the field for the go-ahead score.

When the Raiders got the ball back to potentially tie the score or regain the lead, Carr badly threw a pass that sailed over Hunter Renfrow that was intercepted.

The Raiders only had 50 yards in the second half after having 151 yards in the first half.

“It’s bull… for real,” Jacobs said. “ I mean, it’s bull…. It’s on us. Everybody wanted to talk about the defense, but they made their stops when they were supposed to. We got to help them out, and I’m tired of saying we gotta come out. It’s just frustrating.”
